My name is Vic. I’m the founder of Verreal, an electric skateboard brand we’ve been building for nearly 10 years.

Most electric skateboard reviews are written by people who ride them. We build them — and that changes everything about how we see a board.

What this blog is about

Ride and Reason is where we share what we’ve learned from the inside. When we review a board, we’re not just telling you if it’s fun to ride. We’re explaining why the motor is spec’d that way, why the ESC behaves the way it does, and what the manufacturer was thinking — or got wrong.
